Evaluation Of Importances

L Ron Hubbard wrote about many, many things and he made value judgments about the relative importance of this data and based his work upon his evaluation of this data. I feel he was more right than wrong and the proof is that he was able to create a movement that helped a great number of people and has lasted more than 70 years.

One of the more pivotal benchmarks was a short bulletin he wrote in 1980 titled The Nature Of A Being. Here are some excerpts from that bulletin.

If a being were a single unit, separated from all other beings, conditions, and current

influences, the task of understanding him would be relatively simple and philosophers would have had it all worked out long before Dianetics and Scientology.

The fact of the matter is that when one addresses a person, a human being “in the flesh” one is not addressing a simple being.

In the first place, there is the matter of valence. A person can be himself or he can be under the belief that he is another person or thing entirely. This removes him a step from being a simple being.

Then there is the matter of being in a body. A body is a very complex contrivance, quite remarkable, quite complicated. And it is also quite subject to its own distortions.

There are also the entities (as discussed in “Dianetics, The Modern Science of Mental Health”, pages 84-90, and also “The History Of Man”, pages 13-14, 43, 75-These follow all the rules and laws and phenomena of single beings.

It is the aggregate of all these factors which you address when you seek to guide or handle the usual human being.

When you are handling a human being, you are handling a composite.

It took vast, vast numbers of years and eons for life to get that involved and complicated.

This was a non-confidential technical bulletin available to all staff. When I first read it, I felt that it explained the reason for so much of the difficulty in auditing others in that it mentioned levels of complexity that were not covered in our regular auditing courses. When I read it the next time, I was on my OT levels where we were preparing to deal with these so-called entities. We ran processes that basically exorcised these entities and drove them away from us.

L Ron Hubbard put most of his attention on us as spiritual beings and relegated valences and entities to a secondary role in determining our success in life. In my 40 odd years as a spiritual counselor, 20 years as an auditor, and 21 as an independent spiritual counselor, I came to believe that the vast majority of spiritual difficulties came from the spiritual beings in our bodies and those surrounding us.

My current estimate is that our personal spiritual difficulties account for less than 15 % of all spiritual problems and the other 85+% come from beings who are our spiritual companions.

Our valences are actually beings who identify themselves with us after spending many lifetimes in close contact with us. We can usually identify the being by his behavior and can communicate with him and make him aware of himself as an immortal spiritual being. Once he wakes up, he is free to leave or to join the team and use his free will to contribute to the purpose of the group.

What Hubbard called entities are spirits in various states of awareness who are following us for one reason or another. Some of these so-called “entities” are dead relatives who are still looking after us. Others are beings we have picked up during past lives because we overwhelmed them or grew attached to them. Still other beings were picked up at random times when we shared an incident or interacted with someone in a special way.

Spiritual Rescue Technology attempts to treat all beings as important contributors to the current state of the person and the body the person is wearing. We work with the being who says he or she is running the body, but we are aware we address all spirits in the vicinity when we ask questions. It is far safer to ask, “Do you or any of your spirits recall a time when you…” rather than to simply ask, “Do your recall…”

Once we identify who is responding, we keep the communication line in and handle that being as an individual. If other beings attempt to break into the conversation, we make them wait until we have handled the being we are working with.

In SRT, we address a person as a composite being and once contact is made and we can perceive a being or a cluster of beings who wishes to communicate, we deal with that being or cluster until their problem is resolved.

In order to do this effectively, an SRT counselor has to be able to perceive life forces and intentions. Some people seem to be able to do this naturally, but for others, it takes going in session with an SRT counselor until the person can recognize spiritual beings when they appear and tell one from the other.

If you would like to be able to deal with the 85% of your spiritual difficulties that are not yours, send me a message and we can set up a free evaluation session on Zoom.
