This Saturday, January 30, 2021, we will hold a webinar to show you various ways to overcome the depressing effects of our current lockdown. We will be discussing what is actually happening and will drill several ways of handling the most common effects of living under lockdown conditions.
Now, some of you may say you don’t need any help as you are doing just fine, thank you!
So, I ask you this, “Are you are cheerful as you have been in the past?”
I think you may find you are a little bit grumpy and out of sorts much of the time with no real target for your resentment.
You may also be aware that you are not making as much progress as before and can’t quite spot what is holding you back.
You are not alone because I have been less cheerful lately and it took a discussion with my wife to spot that my sense of humor has gone from cheerfully amused at life to sarcasm and snarky comments about politics and life in general.
The answer, of course, is that many of my spiritual companions are reliving the worst moments of their lives and I was too engrossed in politics and the pandemic to notice their distress. Here we are in 2021 facing plagues, a breakdown in civilization, treachery on a grand scale, and a change of regime, all at once! It is enough to raise the dead and to cause us to lose our confidence in being able to succeed in life.
